Kate’s employment and educational background were a help along the way with picking up the basics, but what truly helped her to grow her understanding of the NDIS was the support of an amazing COS who was invested in supporting us to understand her family member’s NDIS plan and build a strong team of supports. This support was integral with helping her family member regain their quality of life and rejoin living in the community they had previously been isolated from for significant time. With this experience and her passion for empowering others with knowledge, Kate knew that she had discovered the right future role for her!
